Hi, brings back good memories of Edwards, JB’s, Junction 10 etc. Got to know them through Bass Place. I thought they were a great live band. I must of been the only scooter boy at their gigs. I’m now based in rural Lincolnshire but remember being in Brum a few years ago and going to the new Bass Place and Kink saying Bloody hell Dave, thought you were dead. Well wasn’t then and not know so thanks for the good times, whiskey & budweiser.

Saw the Redbeards many times. JBs, Galaxy, Junction 10, Scruples, Grand Theatre, Wood Hayes.

Top band, the music was excellent, the crowd abuse hilarious.
If Jameson Raid can fill the Robin for a comeback gig god knows how many venues the Redbeards could fill, particularly the early ZZ Top p take version !

The memory is just about hanging in there………the same as everything else these days!! I do remember the Georgia Satellites invite, yeah I didn’t make it you’re right, not sure why now though?? Great days & great gigs. I’d love to do a pilgrimage of all the old UK venues to see if they’re still there first & foremost, then to relive some old memories. I hope you’re well mate?

Wow my all time fav pub band seen them many many times cant remember most of the nights as was always a massive piss up one of my prized posessions a signed album still gets played such a shame they didnt become massive.All the best to em anyway
