On a wednesday night you could get in for 50 pence . I was always chasing a cracking girl named Dianne who also had a nice friend Evonne, Id spend all my wages there , not hard when i was just an apprentice .I wonder if Dianne is married now , she was a cracking girl Raz . Also saw a very funny performance by Jimmy tarbuck. I think of those days often and fondly.Wasn't one of the downstairs DJs Tubby Stan? And also Erskine?
